BeachSports, Inc is a non-profit 501 c 3 youth organization FIN 95-4692034. BeachSports was created and is directed by Jack Tingley, a retired Los Angeles County Ocean Lifeguard. Since 1995 over 17,000 campers have enjoyed and learned with BeachSports Surf and Beach Camps.
BeachSports offers Orange Coast Surf Camp (Newport Beach) and Angeles Coast Surf Camp (Redondo Beach) to special circumstance children age 5-14 years old by partnering with local youth non-profits to organize classes. Each camper will receive instruction in ocean and beach safety skills that will allow the camper to enjoy the beach and ocean in a safe, fun and respectful manner. This program is necessary as it will teach ocean safety skills, surfing, body boarding, body surfing, ecology, fitness, health, self reliance and self esteem. Our goal is to teach the camper a love of self, the outdoors, ocean and beach safety and ocean sports.
The OCSC and ACSC are supported by donations, grants, charitable giving and by the BeachSports Scholarship Golf Tournament. The Navy Destroyer Golf Course in Seal Beach will play host Friday, June 12, 2009 to our golf tournament. Please click on the link below to find more information and out how you can participate in our golf tournament. Each foursome participating will fund a week’s scholarship for one camper. Golf Tournament sponsorships are available.

Your donation is appreciated as all monies donated will go to fund scholarships for ACSC and OCSC. No administrative costs are taken from donated scholarship funds. You will receive a receipt confirming your tax deductable donation.
