Redondo Beach Camps

How BeachSports Works

BeachSports is designed so you can create your own awesome summer camp experience! Unlike most camps that lock you into a 5-day week or a single activity, BeachSports’ flexible Day Pass system allows Campers the opportunity to experience a variety of beach and ocean activities, which we refer to as “Camps”, any day of the week. Attend Skate Camp one day, Surf Camp the next. What your summer looks like is up to you!

INTRO TO JR. LIFEGUARDS CAMP

Ocean safety and awareness education is a necessity for the kids of our beach communities. Starting at Age 8, our Intro to Junior Lifeguards camp is designed to educate and train our participants on the skills necessary to safely and confidently enter our oceans.  Unlike other Junior Lifeguard programs, we pride ourselves on providing a relaxed and fun environment with low instructor to participant ratios and smaller class sizes.  Although the lifeguard skills are being learned, we remove the competition intensity other programs strive for.

*Our online registration system has its limitations when registering multiple campers and can be quite confusing. Please use the link above or Contact Us to complete the registration for you.

Full Week vs. Individual Days
We recommend attending the full week, M-F, to get to know the Coaches and experience all our camp activities, but we understand that may not fit your schedule so we've designed the program in a way that allows drop-in participants to have the same awesome experience.

Early Drop-Off
Need a little extra time in the morning? Drop your camper off at 8AM rather than the scheduled 9AM start time. Campers will be supervised during the hour and will participate in various beach games until 8:45AM when they will join their scheduled BeachSports camp. *Please note, there will be no water time or lessons during this period, supervised beach games only.
